Royal Wootton Bassett Town boss Sam Collier admitted Rhys Talmash’s rash red card cost his side dear against local rivals Shrivenham on Tuesday night.
Collier slammed the actions of Talmash, who was sent off for violent conduct in the first half, and admitted there will be “repercussions” for the player.
The incident cost Bassett dear on a night when they had taken the lead courtesy of Danny Langford’s opener on 15 minutes as Shrivenham went on to record a 3-2 victory.
“It was very, very disappointing,” said Collier. “It was a rash error from one of our players.
“One error has cost us and there will be repercussions.
“We started brightly but unfortunately one error has cost us today.”
Bassett return to action on Saturday when they host Aylesbury Vale Dynamos in the FA Cup.
