Shrivenham Under 18’s coach Paul Whitewood believes the club is building a youth set-up which any youngster in the region should be keen to be involved with.
With the club presently looking to recruit an under 16’s manager, Shrivenham want their youth players to progress through the ranks into the Hellenic League side.
And Whitewood believes Shrivenham is a club on the up, saying: “The chairman has set his goal out of what he wants to achieve here and the youth set up is pivotal to that.
“We want the best players to come out here and I honestly think if you’re a 15-16 year-old looking at where you want to play your football and being affiliated to the senior side, what a place to do it.”
