VIDEO: Swindon set for another bumper night of boxing

Watch extended highlights from Saturday’s press conference to launch the next professional boxing show in Swindon, Fight Town 1.

The show itself is being promoted by Neilson Boxing in association with Paddy Fitzpatrick and Trifecta Boxing and will feature no less than 15 fights at Swindon’s Oasis Leisure Centre.

Co-headlining the show are Swindon favourites Luke Watkins and Ryan Martin, who will fight for the first time in 2019 in a year which they hope will bring title shots.

Bec Connolly also features on the action-packed card, fighting in Swindon for the second successive bout and is sure to be involved in another toe-to-toe contest.

There is a debut for another Swindonian, Jensen Irving, who fights out of the Paddy Fitzpatrick stable of boxers while journeyman Phil Williams will also be in action in the home corner for a change.

Another Fitzpatrick boxer on the bill is Sam Smith, who makes his second fight at super-middleweight after dropping down from light heavyweight.

Talented former Walcot amateur boxer Said Eltuyev will compete in his third professional fight, hoping to make it three straight wins.

There is also a debut for Chippenham’s Carl Mallinson who makes the switch from professional kickboxing to boxing.

The exciting Max Mudway returns to Swindon after impressing on his debut last time out and also featuring on the card is Bradley Townsend, Harry Webb, Scott James, Vladimir Georgiev, Dan Sabastonelli and Bradnon Thomas.
