Watch the first-half penalty incident in the FA Trophy clash between Swindon Supermarine and Dorchester Town.
After Supermarine’s David Pratt was brought down in the box by Will Buse, the Dorchester keeper was booked and Michael Hopkins subsequently missed the spot kick.
Hopkins did follow up to score but after initially awarding the goal, the referee ruled it out because the no other player had touched the ball after Hopkins’ kick.
Supermarine went on to win the match 3-2 with Hopkins scoring a 91st minute penalty.
Pierce Mitchell gave Marine a 19th minute lead courtesy of a bullet header from a corner.
David Pratt then raced through on goal only to be pulled down by the Dorchester keeper Will Buse inside the box.
Buse escaped a red card and then Hopkins fired against the post before following up the rebound to score. However, his effort was ruled out because no other player touched ball after the ball came back off the post.
Shortly after the break Jamie Edge put Marine in control as he headed home superbly from a corner.
And Supermarine looked comfortable until the 76th minute when Dorchester nipped in to score a rebound.
The hosts then got caught cold on 90 minutes as Dorchester squeezed home an equaliser.
Fortunately for Supermarine, Conor McDonagh raced into the box at the other end just a minute later and was fouled.
The referee gave the penalty despite appeals from the visitors and Hopkins made no mistake with his second spot kick of the game.
