Luke Richards fired Cricklade level on 23 minutes when he scored from a goalmouth scramble after Purton keeper Luke Kuczynski failed to deal with a ball into the box.
Second half goals for Purton from Sam English, Andy Bilko and Tom McCulloch against his former club, with just a Chris Tewkesbury goal in reply for Cricklade, ensured that it was Purton who claimed the bragging rights.
