Shaun Lambert has promised to produce an “explosive” debut when he begins his professional career in Swindon at the Kings of the Ring show.
The Weston-super-Mare boxer says he cannot wait for his first fight and believes he will make a huge impression on the night.
“I am looking forward to it, I am looking forward to letting my hands go,” said Lambert.
“Most people I hit, I usually hurt. It will be explosive. Like I said, whoever I hit usually get hurt. I’m looking forward to putting it on someone.”
Lambert will fight on the undercard to Swindon welterweight Ryan Martin at Swindon MECA on December 8th.
The show which is called Kings of the Ring is being promoted by Neilson Boxing in association with Paddy Fitzpatrick and Trifecta and will feature no less than four Swindon boxers in action.
The bumper 10-fight card is also made up of a host of exciting boxers from the south, including Paddy Fitzpatrick trained Harry Webb, who will compete in his fifth pro fight and first six rounder.
WBC Youth and IBO Continental welterweight challenger Ryan Martin tops the bill as he looks to secure a victory that will set him up a title challenge in 2019.
Swindon’s Bec Connolly is also in action as she looks to put on a show in front of her home crowd and has vowed to be in another toe-to-toe war as she looks to make her grade in the women’s super featherweight division.
There is a Swindon debut for Said Eltuyev, the talented 19-year-old who learnt his trade at Walcot Amateur Boxing Club. The bout will be his second fight as he is due to make is professional debut on October 20th at Ashton Gate in Bristol.
The final Swindon boxer on the bill is heavyweight Phil Williams, who has already had four professional fights on the road but will be looking for a knockout performance in front of his home crowd.
There is also a debut for Gloucester’s Max Mudway, another boxer predicting that he will produce a show-stopping performance.
Witney’s Bradley Townsend will also be in action, fighting in a six rounder, with the welterweight searching for a fourth pro win.
Gloucester’s David Bailey is also in action with the light heavyweight looking to impress in Swindon before chasing titles in the new year while completing the bill is Bicester super welterweight Scott James, fighting in his seventh pro bout.
