Swindon Supermarine skipper Stuart Fleetwood admitted either side could have grabbed the points in the Boxing Day draw against Salisbury.
Both Salisbury and Marine had good chances to score in the dying minutes but all opportunities were missed and both sides had to settle for draw.
And Fleetwood conceded the result was probably fair on both side, saying: “It was probably a fair result in the end.
“Both side had good chances to win it, it could have gone either way.”
Supermarine host Fleetwood’s old club Merthyr on Saturday and he is looking forward to the clash and continuing his current club’s unbeaten run going.
“We want to keep this run going,” said Fleetwood. “We are raring to go Saturday.
“I’ve obviously got a lot of friends down there, it’ll be a good game for us. We did really well at their place, drew 2-all and I think the point today makes it an even bigger game for us.”
