Swindon’s Said Eltuyev begins his professional boxing career on Saturday night and admits he is both nervous and excited ahead of his first fight.
The former Walcot Amateur Boxing Club star will start his pro career at super welterweight and takes on Danny Little at Bristol City Football Club on Saturday night.
Trained by his father and former Russian champion Islan, the youngster believe the time is perfect to start his professional career.
“I’m developed now, very mature, very motivated that is why the time is right now. I am young as well,” said Eltuyev.
“My debut is the fight that I am most concerned about right now. But I want to achieve as much as possible, as high as I can.
“I’m very excited. I am slowly building some nerves, even now, so I expect to have some nerves on the night.”
Following making his professional bow on Saturday night, Eltuyev will then turn his attentions to a fight in his home town when he fights on the Kings of the Ring card at Swindon MECA.
That fight takes place on December 8th and is promoted by Neilson Boxing in association with Paddy Fitzpatrick and Trifecta.
