Swindon St George’s new captain for the 2019 season Rhys Evans is looking forward to leading his side into new territory in the form of the Southern Conference West.
With Swindon St George jumping up a division this year, Evans is relishing the challenge ahead and believes the club will hold their own.
The club will also be led by Neil Loader and although Evans admitted this season is mainly about rebuilding, he is looking forward to working with Swindon’s new head coach.
“It is very exciting to be back at the club,” said Evans. “It is going to be good having Loader (Neil Loader) on board.
“It is just rebuilding really with a new coach and just hold our own in that league and see what we can do with it.
Swindon St George begin their season on April 27th when they host Valley Cougars at Swindon Rugby Club.
