Wootton Bassett Town exited the Floodlit Cup after a 2-1 defeat against Woodley United.

The match didn’t start well for Bassett when goalkeeper Curtis Meare was sent off for denying a goalscoring chance.

Charlie Oakley then put Woodley in front before Matthew Cheetham’s first-time belter pulled Bassett level.

The extra man eventually told as Woodley dominated most of the second half and scored their winner courtesy of Jack Nicholls on 52 minutes.
