Watch our final highlights video from last weekend’s Swindon & District Netball League.

Division One Lawn A were unable to stop league leaders Raychem A as their incredible form in the Swindon & District Netball League continued.

Lawn played very well throughout the game with the final 60-30 scoreline not a true reflection of their efforts.

A hard-earned player of the match award went to Florrie Green, who made some great interceptions throughout the game.

Second-placed Croft A also won as they beat 66-44.

In Division Two, Lawn B put in an excellent performance to continue their good form as they beat Burmah B 45-29.

Lawn B made a great start to the match as they led 17-6 going into the second quarter.

Burmah settled into the match but Lawn protected their lead with quality defending, centre court play and shooting.

Lawn went on to win the game comfortably with the player of the match awarded to Ava Kirkby, whose support up the court was excellent.

The win keeps Lawn in second place in the league behind Nationwide B, who beat Raychem C 43-33.

In Division Three, Royal Wootton Bassett A continued their good form as they beat Nationwide C 49-26.

Bassett made a positive start and quickly gained control of the game with Liz Kelly being named the player of the match.

The win leaves Bassett second in the table behind leaders RTM who beat Moredon B.

Elsewhere in the division, Lawn C were up against an experienced Delta A team and worked tirelessly despite trailing for the entirety of the game.

Delta eventually came out on top 51-25 while Phoebe Thompson was named player of the match for Lawn for her superb attacking play.

In Division Four, Royal Wootton Bassett B had a tough match against top-of-the-table Faringdon.

Bassett fell behind after the first quarter but fought back to trail by just one goal going into the final session.

However, Faringdon managed to hang on to their lead, and won the match 41-36. Jess Chandler was voted player of the match for Bassett.

Royal Wootton Bassett C and Pinehurst D contested a top-of-the-table clash which could not have been tighter.

Neither side gave an inch with Pinehurst leading the way going into the final quarter.

Bassett though fought back in the final quarter to gain a 34-34 draw.

Also in the division, Lawn D claimed their second win against winless Nationwide D.

Despite taking a while to get into the game, Lawn eventually sealed a 38-23 victory.

Excellent defensive play between Cerys Heath and Thea Rhodes led the foundations for their performance, with Rhodes picking up player of the match for her fantastic interceptions and quick turn around on the attack.
