Watch highlights of the fight between Mathew Wootten and Harvey Tyler at Swindon Brunel ABC’s home show on Friday night.

Brunel ABC’s Wootten and National Smelting Company ABC’s Tyler put on a great show of boxing in their skills bout which was the second bout of the night.

A big crowd saw nine bouts take place on the night with three of Swindon ABC’s boxers claiming victories.

The night began with 10 bells for club member Alan ‘Sugar’ Roberts, who sadly passed away recently.

This was followed by two fantastic skills bouts, with Mathew Wootten (Swindon Brunel) taking on Harvey Tyler (NSC) and Alfie Graham (Swindon Brunel) facing Cameron Hind (Malmesbury ABC).

The first competitive bout of the night saw Alex Salimi take on Eltham’s Alex Przybyszewski with the Swindon boxer coming out top and earning a majority decision.

Raid Toonah was next up for Swindon ABC, taking on Eltham’s Dwight Martins but it was the away fighter who grabbed victory, winning a majority decision.

Bout five of the night saw Swindon’s Frayson Fernandez go toe-to-toe with Eltham’s Harry Lancaster and it was the away corner which claimed the win, Lancaster earning a majority decision.

Peter Stow was the next Swindon Brunel boxer in action, taking on Barnstaple’s Charlie Ludwell and Stow produced a fantastic performance to claim a majority decision.

The bout itself was named ‘Fight of the Night’ with Stow winning the award for ‘Best Boxer of the Night’.

Another victory for Swindon followed with Leni Dawson earning a unanimous decision against McKayla Whitehome-Smith from Eltham,

Alex Masters was next up for Swindon Brunel and he faced Tommy Smith from Eltham. Despite a brave battle, Masters lost a majority decision in this junior bout.

The last fight of the night was between Swindon’s Hannah O’Brien and Lucy Woodhams from Eltham, with the away boxer claiming a stoppage.
