Swindon Robins skipper Nick Morris is determined to bounce back from his disappointing display against Belle Vue in Thursday night’s Charity Shield second leg.

Despite Morris suffering various bike issues, Swindon Robins lifted their first silverware of the season as they overcame a first leg deficit to beat Belle Vue 94-86 on aggregate.

And while Morris was disappointed with his own return, he praised the efforts of his teammates, saying: “All the boys did a really good job. If you missed the start it was difficult.

“But they plugged away and score a few points.”

Looking ahead to next Thursday’s Premiership League opener against Leicester, Morris is expecting a tough test.

“I think a lot of the teams look strong but we’ll just treat every meeting the same and hopefully win them all.”

Your Sport’s Nick Taylor caught up with Morris after the win against Belle Vue and you can watch his full interview below.
