Managing Director / Founder
Steve is the founder of Your Sport Swindon. Having dreamt for many years about launching a website dedicated to local sport, Steve did just that in January 2015 when he founded Your Sport Swindon. With over 20 years’ experience in regional sports journalism, Steve recognised that the majority of sports and sports people in the town were not receiving the media coverage they deserved. Steve’s vision for Your Sport Swindon is to provide a platform for each and every sport and sports person in Swindon to gain the recognition they deserve and grab a share of the headlines. Having lived in Swindon for almost four decades, Steve is no stranger to the town’s local sports scene, having both played and covered a host of different sports. Steve is the former Sports Editor at the Swindon Advertiser and has also worked for both the Slough, Windsor & Eton Observer along with Medway Today and the Kent Messenger.
James is the face behind our pictures and has been part of the Your Sport Swindon team since the very start. With three years’ experience of sports photography, James has fast become a familiar face at sports events in Swindon. Although James originally hails from Yorkshire, he is very much a Swindonian having lived in the town since 1990. James is passionate about sport and photography which is why he is able to capture the very best sports pictures each and every week. In his younger years he also played football in the Swindon Sunday Football League.

Josh is a young and talented sports journalist, who joined the team in the summer of 2016. He is now a familiar face on the touchlines around the town while his reports are now avidly read on the website each and every week.
