McDonald’s Swindon franchisee Carl Room said he is proud to sponsor grass roots football in the town and in particularly Swindon Supermarine and The SwinDome sports facility.
Speaking at the McDonald’s Football Festival which took place at Supermarine’s Webb’s Wood Stadium, Room hailed the SwinDome as a multi-purpose facility and said he was delighted to see football in the area on the rise.
“I’m proud to be a sponsor of Supermarine and The SwinDome, I think it is a great venue for children to come and play football or any other activity in a lovely, safe environment.”
The Football Festival also saw McDonald’s ambassador, 1966 England World Cup winner Sir Geoff Hurst attend as he officially opened the SwinDome and mingled with the crowd who attended on the day.
