Lee Spalding was delighted with the manner in which his Swindon Supermarine side secured victory against Gosport Borough on Saturday.
The 2-1 victory at the Webb’s Wood saw Supermarine move to within a point of 16th placed Gosport and Spalding was pleased with how his side approached the game.
“I’m really pleased today, I thought we played some really good stuff,” said Spalding. “The manner in which we went about the game today was much better.
“We kept the ball for much longer periods and it moved them around a bit.
“We passed it really well and the transition from when we had it and didn’t have it was really good today.
“It is a great win for us, a great result.”
First-half goals from Stuart Fleetwood and Ryan Campbell secured victory for Marine, who had good chances in the second-half to extended their lead.
Spalding’s side return to action next weekend when they travel to Chesham.
