Here’s our nine contenders for this month’s Magic Touch Promotions Goal of the Month competition.
With no competition held in July, we have included a couple of goals from that month to make up the compliment, and we have a shortlist that is hard to choose from.
Goal number one is a fine strike by Royal Wootton Bassett Town’s Brad Pagliaroli, scored in the Hellenic derby at Fairford Town.
Fairford Town’s Lee Smith is next up with a fine free-kick scored against Brimscombe & Thrupp.
Third on our shortlist is Dan Boswell, one of Swindon Town Football in the Community’s stars from the Gothia Cup. His diving header finished off a fine run and cross by teammate Charlie McCuish.
Another Bassett player Gabe Costello is next with his pin-point side foot which picked out the top corner for the Development side against Corsham.
Shrivenham Development youngster Brad Hirst is our next contender thanks to his long range effort scored against Bourton.
A fine free-kick from Bassett’s Gio Wrona scored against Swindon Supermarine in pre-season is sixth on our shortlist.
Next up it’s another Gothia Cup goal, this time from Under 13’s star Tom Wynn-Davis.
Another Bassett player is our eighth contender courtesy of his rocket of a strike which picked out the top corner.
And last, but not least, Swindon Town Football in the Community’s Sam Clark is our final name on the shortlist with a mazy run and fine finish from the Gothia Cup in Sweden.
