Swindon Town FC Community Foundation’s two Gothia Cup sides enjoyed another successful day in Sweden with both sides set to qualify for the knockout stages of the “A” Cup.
Town’s “Red” side produced a formidable performance to beat JSG TSV Bassam Nordwalde 10-1 and secure their place in the next stage.
Meanwhile, the “Black” side hit a last-gasp equaliser to snatch a 3-3 draw against FC Tiigrid and now require just one point to reach the knockout stages.
Joseph Beavis struck four times for Town’s “Red” side in their 10-1 win against TSV Bassam with Finley Osborn grabbing a brace.
Also on target in the rout was Freddie Morlock, John Moore, Jamie Scott and Toby Parker.
Finley Boles and Cassius Morris gave Town’s “Black” side a 2-0 win against FC Tiigrid before the Estonian side hit back to lead 3-2.
Oliver Bradbury though was Town’s hero as he struck an equaliser right on the final whistle.
