View our third picture gallery from last weekend’s Swindon & District Netball League taken by Your Sport’s James Booth.

Lawn A ran Croft A close in Division One of the Swindon & District Netball League before falling to defeat.

They came out fighting against second-placed Croft but eventually slipped to a 45-37 defeat.

Some great defending and intercepting from Steph Isles and Florrie Green saw Lawn hold their own against Croft for much of the match.

Holly Atkins backed up her team with some accurate shooting while Jess Hemborough earned the player of the match award for Lawn.

Raychem A finished the first half of the season at the top of the division, four points ahead of Croft.

In Division Two, second-placed Lawn B went down 61-38 against Corsham while leaders Nationwide B also suffered a loss against Fairford.

Division Three Royal Wootton Bassett A finished the first half of the season in second place after a 53-34 win against Pinehurst C.

Bassett made great use of their squad, playing their players in a variety of combinations.

Grace Philpot was named player of the match for Bassett.

Leaders RTM won again, this time beating RTM 68-26.

Lawn C made a slow start against Croft C but still ended the first quarter in the lead.

Continuing the pace throughout the match and with some tight team play saw Lawn eventually take control of the match.

The final quarter saw Lawn extend their lead with some excellent play in the attacking circle before wrapping up a 53-35.

Goal shoot Jess Crossley was named player of the match for Lawn.

In Division Four, third-placed Royal Wootton Bassett B beat fourth-placed Abbey B 39-11.

Bassett produced a real team performance as they won numerous defensive turnovers en route to victory.

Jess Chandler was named player of the match for Bassett.

Delta B took on second-placed Moonraker but were behind after the first quarter by four goals.

Solid defence from Vicky Parker and Chris Thackray saw Delta hold Moonraker to a draw in the second quarter.

However, Moonraker switched their shooters at half-time and forged ahead 26-16 going into the final quarter.

Delta lost heart in the final quarter and Moonrakers wrapped up a 35-18 success.

Thackray was named player of the match for Delta.

Faringdon finished the first half of the season top of the league, seven points ahead of Moonraker.

Lawn D and Royal Wootton Bassett C faced difficult weather conditions in their Division Five clash.

Bassett started well and led the match by one goal after the first quarter.

Lawn though hit back in the second quarter to snatch the lead and they worked tirelessly in defence and centre court en route to earning a 42-30 success.

Thea Rhodes was named player of the match for Lawn while Claire Arthur was the star of the show for Bassett.

Bassett finish the first half of the season top of the league by three points from Purton.

In the Regional League, Lawn travelled to Devizes but trailed at the end of the first quarter.

A physical Devizes team continued to build on their lead while Lawn managed to get all players out on court and used various different combinations.

Lawn kept their heads until the end but just couldn’t claw back Devizes’ lead as they triumphed 61-29.

Goal attack, Macy Dawson was named player of the match.
