One of our favourite moments now, and the time eight-year-old Ted Grove scored the crucial try at Swindon St George’s Presidents’ Day back in 2017.
Eight-year-old Ted suffers from a rare brain disease called AADC which affects just six people in the UK and 100 worldwide.
With just seconds remaining in the match between the Chairman’s XIII and the Captain’s XIII, Ted entered the field and score the vital points to ensure the match ended in a tie.
The day itself was a fundraiser for Ted and his charity Ted’s Smile, which helps raise money to pay for all the necessary facilities to make his life better.
If you would like to donate to Ted’s Smile, you can find out more via their Facebook page @TedsSmile
