Back in September 2016, Swindon Town Ladies won a seven-goal thriller against Portsmouth in the Women’s Premier League Southern Division.

The victory was Swindon’s first of the season and proved a crucial one as it helped them avoid relegation at the end of the season.

This fantastic game, saw Swindon grab a 3-1 lead thanks to goals from Abby Picton and two from Chyna Collings.

However, Pompey drew level with two goals in four minutes and looked to have done enough to grab a share of the spoils.

But with the game heading towards a 3-3 draw, up stepped Alison Witts to power home Georgia Walters’ corner.
