Back in March last year, Blunsdon took a huge step towards the Swindon & District Football League Division One title when they beat Kintbury Rangers.

Two goals from Chester Dolisznyj saw Blunsdon bounce back from falling behind against Kintbury to clinch a vital victory.

Kintbury had previously won each of their 13 matches so far this season in Division One and knew victory would edge them closer to the title.

Blunsdon though had other ideas and despite falling behind in the first half rallied to claim a crucial three points.

Dolisznyj’s first appeared to glance off his hip to cancel out Kintbury’s opener.

And having already missed a host of good chances and crashed a shot at the Kintbury bar, Dolisznyj was on hand again to finish off a fine move to net the winner.

Blunsdon went on to win the title by three points while Kintbury had to settle for second place.
