Royal Wootton Bassett Town will have to wait until at least Tuesday night for confirmation of their FA Vase second round opponents.
Bassett reached the second round for just the second time in the club’s history with a 2-1 victory over Ampthill Town on Saturday.
Second half goals from Sam Collier and Steve Yeardley completed a comeback win for Rich Hunter’s men in blustery conditions at the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground.
And their reward for securing progress is an away match against either Portland United or Horndean who will face each other on Tuesday night at New Grove Corner.
The first round match between the two sides that was scheduled on Saturday was postponed due to Storm Brian.
If the game on Tuesday is drawn, a replay will have to take place.
Bassett have enjoyed a stunning recent run of form, earning a victory in 11 of their last 12 matches in all competitions.
Meanwhile, Portland and Hordean both ply their trade in the Wessex League Premier Division, the same step as Bassett’s Hellenic Premier Division, with Portland sitting in 11th position and Horndean in fourth.
The second round tie is set to take place on Saturday November 11.
