Euan Turner is quietly confident that he and his teammates can make an impact at this year’s Gothia Cup in Sweden.
The youngster is part of the Swindon Town Football in the Community U16 Boys side who will represent the town at the World Youth Cup in Gothenburg which gets under way on Monday.
Last year Town’s Under 16 Boys failed to reach the knockout stages of the ‘A’ Cup but Turner believes the class of 2017 will go far in Sweden.
While the focus is very much on winning, Turner accepts that win or lose, the Gothia Cup will prove to be a huge learning experience for him and his teammates.
