Swindon St George coaches Ben Whincup and Matt Robinson hailed their players as they fielded two teams in the West of England play-off finals.
Whincup’s first team took on Oxford Cavaliers in the Grand Final and came home victorious as they clinched a 36-18 victory.
St George’s A side meanwhile, appearing in a play-off final in what was their maiden season, came up short against Gloucester Warriors despite scoring the opening try of the game.
Describing St George’s triumph in the Grand Final, Whincup said: “I am proud of the lot of them.
“They did a professional job. It was glamorous but they managed the game well.
“There’s nothing better than this (winning the Grand Final), and for a club like Swindon to do this it means a lot to a lot of people.”
Robinson was just as proud of his A side, saying: “For a second time, we threw the kitchen sink at Gloucester.
“Wish we could have capitalised on the great start we had.
“No words in the world can sum up how proud I am of the players.
“We are already planning for next season. Very confident we can build from this season and become a force.”
